What You Will Learn and Experience
Foundations of Yoga
• Understand yoga’s true essence — beyond exercise — as a path to inner and outer harmony.
• Dive deep into the Pancha Maya Model (the five layers of being) and the Eight Limbs of Yoga to transform not just your practice, but your life.
• Explore the Yamas and Niyamas (ethical guidelines) and reflect meaningfully through journaling exercises designed to integrate wisdom into everyday living.
Teaching Skills and Methodology
• Learn holistic sequencing rooted in classical Sattva Hatha practices, blending breath, movement, and meditation intentionally.
• Study essential Sanskrit terms to deepen your understanding of yoga’s sacred language.
• Receive mentorship on clear, compassionate cueing, energetic presence, and holding safe space for students — whether teaching vinyasa, gentle, or restorative classes.
• Gain trauma-sensitive teaching techniques, so every body feels welcomed and empowered.
Anatomy, Physiology, and Biomechanics
• Study anatomy in an embodied way: learning not just bones and muscles, but how yoga strengthens, balances, and heals the human body.
• Understand how yoga interacts with key systems (nervous, immune, respiratory, endocrine) and how to adapt practices safely for different needs.
Subtle Body & Energetics
• Awaken and harmonize your energy through an in-depth study of Pranayama (breath control), Mudras (energetic hand gestures), and Bandhas (energetic locks).
• Explore the chakra system and the subtle anatomy of the nadis, enriching your ability to heal from within.
• Connect to the rhythms of nature through Ayurveda and learn to live — and teach — with seasonal wisdom.
Meditation and Mindfulness
• Develop personal meditation practices through accessible techniques like Japa (mantra meditation), Trataka (gazing meditation), and Yoga Nidra (guided deep relaxation).
• Cultivate the ability to anchor into presence, enhancing both your teaching and personal life with clarity, joy, and inner steadiness.
Practice and Embodied Experience
• Attend (or stream) 50 hours of live or on-demand yoga classes, experiencing yoga as a living, breathing art, not just theory.
• Observe and assist in live classes to deepen your teaching voice and confidence.
• Create and deliver your own final teaching project — celebrating how far you've come.
Support and Mentorship
• Personalized monthly mentorship calls to inspire your growth, overcome obstacles, and stay motivated.
