Meets the new educational standards for the training of Yoga Therapists.

Pranayoga's Yoga Therapy teacher training provides experiential framework for adapting Yoga practices to the special needs of people with cancer, chronic pain, and beyond.

Pranayoga Therapeutics of Yoga Teacher Application Process:

• Completion of Application
• Completion of Pranayoga's 500 HR YTT, or equivalent.
• An additional 500 hours of teaching yoga in a variety of settings if trained through other programs.
• Our comprehensive bridge program for students trained in other methods to familiarize them with our approach to teaching yoga and therapeutics.

Part I: Foundation (4-5 day intensives)

Part II: Contemporary biomedical and psychological knowledge (5 weekend intensives)

Part III: Teaching and Therapeutic Skills (4-5 day intensives)

Part IV: Practicum and Mentorship Program

Part V: Professional Practice (weekend workshop)

Part VI: Karma Yoga Retreat (15 hours, weekend retreat)

Elective hours: 200 yoga therapy elective hours are required.
